True Tea Company was founded in 2017 in the city of York, North Yorkshire. They originally began as a tea subscription company, formally known as True Tea Club.
The original intention was to source and supply the worlds best tea and have a range so extensive that it would appeal to customers who were as enthusiastic about tea as they are.
The tea subscription was going so well that they soon outgrew the front room of the house and moved into an actual office.
They found an office in Nether Poppleton, on the outskirts of York, North Yorkshire. This was ideal for packing their loose teas for online orders and having enough space to move into new areas.
True Tea Co. began in 2018 to be more than a subscription service and to provide tea for retail and wholesale.

They have an extensive range of teas including over 80 loose leaf tea blends which range fromEnglishlish breakfast black tea all the way to a caramel rooibos tea.
Not only can you find their teas online, but they also attend monthly farmer's markets and local events around Yorkshire, such as the Harrogate Flower Show.
True Tea Co is focused on providing a first-class service and dispatching an array of quality teas to their customers, either at retail or wholesale, on a daily basis.
Aside from loose leaf tea, they also stock biodegradable pyramid tea bags which plastic-free and packed with their own loose leaf tea blends!
