Top Craft Coffee Roasters

Bailies Coffee Roasters

Bailies Coffee Roasters
When you think of exquisite coffee roasters, there is one top-notch roaster that comes to mind -- Bailies Coffee Roasters. Since the beginning, they have created and resourced world-class coffee experiences that honour the skilled labour of their farming partners across the globe with dignity and fairness, as well as providing delicious flavoured coffees for their customers.

How it All Started

Bailies Coffee Roasters built their coffee roasting business on direct trade visiting where the world's finest coffees are grown, and forging lasting links with the growers, their farming partners.

They source around 90% of their coffees from the country of origin and more than 70% are sourced directly. By sourcing the harvest themselves, they ensure both the quality of coffee for their customers plus a fair price and ethical treatment for the producers.

Indeed, to further demonstrate their quality, one of the roasters, Stephen Houston, competed in coffee's World Brewers Cup. And to think, it all started with Russell Bailie selling coffee from the back of a van!

The Ethics Behind Bailies Coffee Roasters

Bailies Coffee Roasters partner with some of the world's best coffee producers and building ethical, sustainable, long-term relationships with coffee farming communities who are committed to quality coffee production.

They care deeply about the coffee journey from sourcing and roasting, to brewing the perfect cup. They are driven by their sense of responsibility to their farming partners and their communities.

Through education, training and business guidance they ensure world class coffee experiences for all customers, both trade and the people who enjoy their delicious coffee.

What You Will Find Inside at Bailies Coffee Roasters

Bailies Coffee Roasters strive to reveal the distinct flavours inherent in each coffee. Through refinement in their dedicated coffee lab to investment in the latest roasting technology from their partners at Probat, they create individual roast profiles that remain true to what their farming partners want and promote the finest aspects of the green bean to enhance every coffee experience.
